Oral Care in the Perimenopause & Menopause

This was a self directed project as part of the MSc Medical Art at University of Dundee. I have a keen interest in Women's Health and how I, as a medical Illustrator, can help to communicate issues in this realm more constructively.
The perimenopause and menopause affects all systems in a woman's body, including the teeth and mouth.
Illustrations of symptoms were created on Photoshop and icons were made in Illustrator and the infographic was put together on InDesign.
This infographic aims to deliver information around why this stage may bring oral health issues, how the symptoms might present and also how they might be remediated and prevented.
